What's up Doc...?!

A trend that I very much laid to rest at the tender age of 11 seems to be stepping it's way back into our hearts and shoe cupboards. It's been a while now that Doc's have been spotted on the feet of all our favourite fashionista's, Alice Dellal, Aggy Deyn and Chloe Sevigny to name a few...

Me and my fashionably forward friend Dominique wanted a pair ages ago... but now with some heavy press coverage in all our beloved glossies I bet every Tom, Dick and Harriet's gonna get their mitts on a pair, (or should i say tootsies into a pair!?!)! Primark have already done their own cheap and cheerful patent version but at £60 a pop the original DM's are certainly a wise investment that won't break the bank. Patent is certainly fabulous & totally colour-pop on trend, whilst the heeled-version is a nice take on a classic... I've decided to go for the timeless cherry-red:This is one trend that certainly won't be getting the boot! Oh chortle chortle chortle...

Old habits die hard... Youth is wasted on the young... Fashion has no mercy... That's pretty much my ponderings over the past two and a half years that yes I admit I have shamelessly stolen from famous quotes. Doesn't really sum up why I haven't blogged for so long, but let's just put it down to me being a fabulously busy little bee! Anyhoo, if we turn the 6 in 2006 upside down we get 2009... Oooooh SPOOKY!
